On the way back to Kathmandu

Since this morning, our team is on the way again with yaks and porters. They are expected to arrive in Kathmandu in about four days.

A shower, a comfortable bed, a good diner in the restaurant - there will be many things which everybody had been missing during the last weeks. Unfortunately, the contact to the team is interrupted since yesterday. The last computer stopped functioning, and the satellite phone isn't working either. As soon as we can re-establish contact we hope to get some summit pictures.

Today, Jolanda traveled from Switzerland to Kathmandu. She can combine her job with welcoming the team there. We wish her a good flight and a great reunion with the team. For us, it will not take too long until we can welcome our heroes when they will return back home.
